We were very pleased to host over 180 guests at our February 26th launch event in Calgary. We enjoyed presentations from Alberta IoT Chairperson Mark Scantlebury, Manager, Enterprise Accounts Alecia Peters, at Calgary Economic Development, former Minister of Economic Development and Trade Deron Bilous, NRC-IRAP Industrial Technology Advisor Julie Kennet, and a keynote presentation from Nav Dhunay, President and CEO of Imaginea.
Many of our member companies set up tables throughout the room displaying their products & services and answering questions about IoT Technology and Alberta IoT. We also had focused networking areas and great door prizes including air quality IoT sensors from SensorUp and signed copies of the book, ‘Bits, Bytes, and Barrels‘ provided by author Geoffrey Cann.
Great food and refreshing beverages were served, important connections were made, and the event left us all feeling extra motivated to propel Alberta forward in the worldwide IoT marketplace! Thank you to those who presented, and all of you who attended!
