Alberta IoT Response to COVID-19

As you may be aware, the World Health Organization (WHO) recently declared COVID-19 to be a pandemic. As of this writing, the risk in Alberta remains LOW. However, with the COVID-19 virus continuing to spread, governments and organizations are stepping up to take precautions like avoiding large gatherings of people, limiting travel, and practicing social distancing.

The health, safety, and well-being of our members and staff are Alberta IoT’s top priorities and we are following the lead of public health authorities at this important time. We are committed to providing comfortable and safe learning and networking experiences at our events throughout the province.

We will continue to host our monthly member meetings via Zoom to keep our members informed, share knowledge, and provide opportunities for networking. We will also be adding several other online knowledge sharing and training sessions to expand the value you receive from your membership. We will resume our regular in-person meetings, technical sessions, and business training as soon as we can, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our part to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely, and encourage our members to stay up-to-date on the latest information from the Alberta government and Alberta Health Services. Please refer to the following websites:
